EnservioSelect’s Dan Farrell to Speak at Appraisers Association of America National Conference
NATICK, Mass. – November 2, 2010 – EnservioSelect (www.enservioselect.com), the art, collectibles, and hard-to-value items division of Enservio, the nation’s leading provider of contents inventory creation, valuation and replacement services and software, today announced that Vice President Dan Farrell will be participating as a panelist at the Appraisers Association of America (AAA) 2010 National Conference: Accessing Expertise Today! on November 14, 2010 in New York.
Farrell will be participating in the panel discussion titled, “Defining Document Language.” In this discussion, panelists will explain the language used by conservators and the insurance industry, and the importance of appraisers having a clear understanding of each profession’s terms and their definitions when they are needed to help settle an insurance claim.
For more than two decades, Farrell has worked closely with hundreds of specialists and experts in all fields of art, antiques and collectibles and brings an unsurpassed knowledge of the most respected specialists in the field. Since acquiring the North American rights to the television show “Antiques Roadshow”from the BBC, Farrell has helped produce the show with WGBH in Boston and has been instrumental in bringing this popular offering to the American viewing public. Farrell is also a principal in the fine art publishing company Hudson Hills Press.
This year's conference will feature panel discussions, workshops, specialist sessions, and evening receptions. Attendees will be able to connect with fellow appraisers and professionals to debate and discuss new issues and challenges facing the independent appraiser. The conference will be broadcast online during the week of November 15, 2010.
