Tom Kirkpatrick, President

With over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Tom is known for consulting on more multi-million dollar personal property claims than anyone in the industry. Early in Tom’s career, he was a general adjuster/large loss specialist in an adjusting firm. In 1998, Tom founded Comprehensive Inventory Services (CIS), a consultancy that developed a sterling reputation for delivering the highest quality property contents inventory and valuation services to adjusters and carriers serving high net-worth individuals. In 2008, CIS was acquired as a divison of Enservio, rebranded EnservioSelect, and Tom was brought on board as division president. Certified in USPAP by the Appraisers Association of America, Tom has extensive knowledge in antiques, oriental rugs and fine arts that has enabled him to successfully shape the team of specialists and experts at EnservioSelect. Tom is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts.

 

Dan Farrell, Vice President of Collector Services

Dan joined EnservioSelect in early 2009 to establish and direct the company’s Collector Services division. Having worked for over 20 years in the field of fine and decorative arts publishing, Dan also serves as the Consulting Producer for the PBS television series "Antiques Roadshow." Since acquiring the North American rights to this program from the BBC, Dan has helped produce the show with WGBH in Boston and been instrumental in bringing this popular offering to the American viewing public. He has collaborated with hundreds of specialists and experts in all fields of art, antiques and collectible items and brings an unsurpassed knowledge of the most respected players in the field to EnservioSelect’s clients. He is also a principal in the fine art publishing company Hudson Hills Press. Dan holds a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, an M.B.A from the University of Chicago and an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics.

 

Jay Straughan, VP, EnservioSelect

Jay’s career in the insurance industry spans 19 years. Before joining EnservioSelect in 2007, he served Liberty Mutual’s field and home office claims organizations for 17 years. Jay is a four-time presenter at the Property Loss Research Bureau claims conference. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Samford University and an M.S. in Construction Management from Florida International University.
